He sank that choke (it was really a neck crank) in within 5 seconds, there was no time for arlovski or anyone to get up.

Look at what happened when Derrick fought Ilir Latifi, was dominated for two rounds. But that fight never happened according to the MMA media; was a dominant victory for Derick in his hometown.

You can beat anyone when you have insane power like BB does. Doesn't really matter if all those guys are technically more skilled or in better shape. All it takes is one bomb to land flush and you are going to dream land. Natural power is an important aspect of the fight game. BB and Francis have demonstrated that quite bit in their UFC run (and Carwin before that)

I think Dericks a great fighter but a terrible martial artists.

On top of that, he’s pretty ballsy. Doesn’t give a fuck, big, durable, a good puncher and has natural power in his hands.

But he loses to guys who are skillful enough to avoid all of that.

Of course he can, but it becomes a lot more difficult when an opponent of his can take his shots even when he winds up.

Not all chins are made equal, just like not all punchers are made equal. We have seen fighters get hit by Derrick clean and not go out like Curtis did, several, and we know how Derrick fights when he is afraid of his opponents power.

Would be interesting to see Derrick fight Aspinall.
