Considering how many unarmed AA kids end up dead at the hands (or guns) of cops, I can certainly understand their concern. It can certainly hurt your school performance when you have to worry you might be executed for being tardy or not raising your hand to go to the bathroom

the answer to the school shooting issue is not " we need more cops". Police are for the most part uneducated brutes who have no place in an academic setting...

what is required is much more difficult, our society must focus and figure out why children now want to kill each other. there is a disease at the core of our culture and it is manifesting itself in the form of mass murder, addiction, despair, greed, and anger.

we need to improve our relationships with ourselves and with the earth, so that we may more fully love and understand each other. this is a plight which concerns all of us.

That's what police at school should be there for safety of the students and that should not be a problem as long as they do their job within the set this lines. Daniel Tosh made a joke about making the police profession an African American only one. There are certainly days where I wonder if it wasn’t a joke, but an actual suggestion.

In my career as a firefighter. My observations have shown me that people are way more likely to hassle a white cop before a black one.
