Brock Lesnar's NCAA Championship win

Watch some video of them. Destroy was hyperbole, to be sure. Parris is incredible in his offense and Gable is world class. He just missed the Olympic squad as a 20 year old by one spot.
Brock was not an offensive wrestler at any point. Steveson should be a much more offensive wrestler, hes got a ton of skill but Minnesota still have that super conservative style. Brock comes in to wrestle with Steveson. Steveson lost to Casaro from PSU last year because he didn't open up and wrestle offensively enough. He got worked in the NCAA final by a guy that is good but not elite.

There’s a million of those. I’m supposed to believe him over the Olympic gold medalist that actually wrestled Brock?
Kurt Angle was being humble when describing Brock, thats his friend and colleague. But witnesses who saw the wrestling match said they were shocked how Kurt was able to handle Brock who had 60 pounds on him.

Why wouldn't he, hes a olympic champion, it would be like a black belt vs a talented student.

Its never been a secret that Brock was not the most gifted or technical wrestler and that he made up for it in brute strength and size and athleticism, roids or no roids, it is what it is, not sure why people are trying to discount him, it sounds a lot like that 'Chuck Liddell always sucked' thread that was floating around here the other day.

it's not a black belt vs a talented student. again, brock was competitive as a junior with the world champion that year.

but yes on the rest of your post...

Been reading the thread, most HW wrestlers aren't exactly monsters when it comes to perfect technique, you want that then look for the lower weights they are much better skill wise.

Brock wasn't anything extraordinary in wrestling skill but he wasn't a scrub either and then you add in his size, athleticism and strength and you got something special.

Chael Sonnen has something against HW wrestlers anyone that has listen to him long enough can pick up on that and he also has some weird thing about Brock something happened at some point and old Chael carries a grudge.

Kurt Angle is way more gifted in wrestling pedigree and in skill / experience this dude has won in basically everything he ever participated wrestling wise:
- High School Champ (in Pennsylvania where they really wrestle) - check
- USA Junior Freestyle Champion - check
- multiple NCAA Division I Champion - check
- USA Senior Freestyle Champion - check
- World Championships Junior/Senior Freestyle Champion - check
- Olympic Games Gold medal in freestyle wrestling (heavyweight) Atlanta 1996 - check

He is the 1% of the 1%ers ... there is no shame for a Div 1 Champ to lose to him, 6'0 225lbs top athlete himself and he went for 15 hard minutes with the new comer 295lbs Lesnar that was just finishing throwing Big Show (400+ lbs giant) around like no one does.. and he got a takedown on Lesnar based on his superior skill and experience but praised him on his size and power and mobility/agility best big man he ever saw in the 'business' no other 300 pounder impressed him to that extent.

But he never got near the olympics, completely different level

Not sure on the 70lbs bigger estimation either, by the time they were both in the E there was probably 40lbs & 2" in height max between them.

Lesnar v Jones is too fun to not do

The thing is Jones wouldn't wrestle, he'd batter brock from distance then take him down when hes tired, Jones don't wrestle anymore.

In a straight up wrestling match, Brock beats Jones no problem.
