Don't post a lot Just here and there.
But I'm pumped and I see a lot if threads about age and how long so....
Got brown, as well as my blue and purple from Denny Prokopos

Started at 27 yo with Noah Spear( purple at the time) in Philly
He actually traded me lessons for storage of his motorcycle

Moved to SF. Trained with a Carlson purple at Krav Maga school
But I was more into boxing
Also did judo at city college for a couple semesters

Started at mma gym with 6 months training bjj with Darren " bonecrusher "
and Denny.
Got blue in 15 months
Followed Denny when he opened 10p SF
Got purple after 3.5 at blue
Got brown today after 4 at purple

Broken wrist, herniated disc in neck, hernia ( surgery ), torn periformis , and all the other shit you get wrastlin with dudes

Loved all of it. Blue was definetly trying and I can see how a lot quit then
Denny is pretty stingy with belts. You gotta have the performance with the skill
I'm now 37 and still roll hard with all the young bucks
Definetly takes longer to recover than 10 yrs ago but hey...

Ya I train 4-5 days a week
And brown belt definetly feels like the big boy belt

Congrats now put on gi so you can wear the belt. J/k. Big accomplishment!
 
Do you remember how to tie a belt? Ha ha just kidding.

Congrats. Sounds like you put in the time and training.
 
Congrats on brown. Just recently did a seminar with Noah Spear, smart guy and great at jiujitsu.
