That puts Colby Covington's record vs active UFC fighters down to 2-4.

(The youngest active UFC fighter Colby has beaten is 38 so he will very quickly have no wins).

This literally the dumbest fucking stat anyone could come up with. If this really mattered, then current BW champ O'Malley is 3-1-1NC, Leon is 5-1-1, Jon is 4-0, Jan is 4-2-1, Whittaker is 5-5, Burns is 4-6, Max is 7-6, Strickland is 6-6, Grasso is 4-2-1, Rose is 6-7...we could do this forever.

His name is big enough that he can go to other promotions & the casuals will recognize his name, so if he does retire... as he says he's going to... then I'd expect he quickly gets restless & starts fishing the ponds for some quick money grabs here & there.

Relax simp, it was just an easy of pointing out that Colby has zero wins over anyone relevant and spent his UFC career on a dinosaur hunt. It's not just that they aren't in the UFC, they are retired or on the brink of retirement.

He has the fakest record in the UFC to go along with his fake character.

Yeah you gotta win eventually. Likeable guy though, probably BKFC next.

Great guy in a brawl. BKFC would be fuckin perfect for him.

Sage rematch in One if he can make weight. UFC saw Father Time taking its toll and he has peaked so while will miss him, it is understandable cut.

Goes from beating Robbie Lawler & Matt Brown to a 4 fight losing streak, oof.

Trevor Berbick went from beating Ali to losing to bums...because that's how age works.

When this guy was beating Lawler and Brown, they were corpses.

Having no ground game
For the longest time he was training with Benson and a few other killers at the MMA lab, one would think he should've learned something about grappling but perhaps you are right.

It doesn't seem like his heart was in it lately, why did he even go to MW?

He looked fat out there.
Yeah that was something that I had found odd as well. Perhaps he was losing interest and didn't wish to cut as much weight? He was handled quite easily against both Muradov and Gerald.

PowerSlap is still considered UFC, so there’s still a back door option for him to remain with the company.

It's hard not to be a fan of Bam Bam, but this was the right move imo
