The CA government has no one to blame but itself. It created a system that did not work and then expected millions of people to comply with it. Now that its system completely failed it has been forced to remove the registration requirement for the time being.

The law got scrapped because of (internet) system glitches?

Don't they just fix the system then vote the law in again?

Sure they have to at least make a system that people can comply with

    Of course.

While humorous, is this a 2nd Amendment victory or just a slight delay?

Not surprised. Saw an article that said 6k registered. That is likely a drop in the bucket on who owned ARs.

    This state fucking sucks

From what I can tell in Hawaii they had a low participation rate when they introduced their registry. A guy I know just built an 80%'er. We laughed at the thought of him strolling into the cop shop to register it.
