I was approach by a Chines company that does AI AR-glasses and they have been used with success by police in China. They can both identify faces from "most wanted lists" and other lists. Also number plates on cars.

I never said I was against criminal databases or facial recognition technology. It's the intention behind it that I'm concerned of. It's not clear what the intention is for this software, but if they're going to use it just for the purpose of outing porn actresses then I would disagree with that. Like I said some women have made bad decisions due to bad childhood experiences, and some of them want to change for the better. I believe in giving people second chances. It's not like they killed anyone, they fucked some dudes while being filmed. If this agitates men so much then I think that's a problem with the men. Us men fuck different women and we don't get ridiculed at all and it's even some sort of bragging right. Yet when women fuck it's suddenly so disgusting and slutty. I think we should not lie to ourselves that this is a double standard.

If they'd use it for investigation purposes to solve a crime then I'm fine with it.

There's also the question of who will be granted access to this technology. I think it's going to be a problem if this software just gets released for everyone's use. Just look at the tweets of those incels and tell me if women deserve that kind of hate.

In the future, this kind of tech is going to be widely available. I mean right now there are pretty sophisticated cyber weapons available on the deep web. Most government reports trying to predict the future talk about the diffusion of tech to non state actors and individuals. The only reason this dude is getting this kind of attention is because it relates to naked women and facial recognition/AI is still a new idea to most people.

First, I'm not selling what I write here for public consumption. I don't profit by it. Second, one would have to doxx me because I do not promulgate my identity. They are appearing on screen; intentionally sharing their faces with the public. Ergo, he isn't "doxxing" these girls. He isn't phishing for their emails or violating some other security wall in order to obtain private information. He's literally taking their faces from their public work. Finally, he's matching these to public social media profiles. Choosing to publish yourself on social media is also a choice, and so is the choice to make your account public.

I know what you mean as I went down a similar path (lost mine at 25).

My father kept saying that I was going to become a serial killer and shoot up a school. I never thought about that, yet I thought about suicide a lot.

My girlfriend of five years basically taught me the ropes, cleaned me up a bit, chewed me up whenever I acted like an idiot and gave me reason to live.

Now I have a better job, life prospects, I drive and have travelled (which is what I want to do a lot more of).

Honestly, I don't think it's most men that don't want our friends to succeed. I've had a few like that for sure especially when I started becoming successful but the real homies were happy for me and I happy for them when they did well.
