It would be extremely easy. Dana tells Gane to take a dive, gives him an extra 10 million check, and forces him to sign an NDA. The only people who need to be in on the plan are Dana, the two fighters, and a few other UFC brass.

Joe Rogan, DC, or any other UFC media would never reveal their suspicions. Instead, they'd do everything to cover it up.

Well the takedown did not look real at all and Gane put no effort in escaping the choke.
There is no reason an athletic 250 lbs should have flopped to the ground like that

I agree the choke was legit. Jones had his forearm under Gane's throat.

What was suspicious were Gane's terrible punching and kicks, the "takedown" in which Gane belly-flopped, and Gane's complete lack of defense against the two separate choke attempts.

I think Gane was more scared than anything, He looked worried before the fight.

It was more of a neck crank. If you look Jones also had his legs trapped and he was against the cage so he wasn’t able to adjust to it when he did jones adjusted and got the choke.
