How do I get these on my house? Is this like something the electric company will do? I don’t mind paying an extra fee.

No. The electric company won't help. You need to call your local fire department to come put them up and give you a licence.

There's many ways. You just need to plan it out and measure, purchase what you need and either hang them up yourself or hire a handyman or even a service that can install them for you. I skipped this year, but plan to put up lights and décor next year. This past weekend I did look at a potential layout and have a plan that will be easy to setup. Just need to do the measurement and pick a certain design. Not going up the second story roof though. I'm hoping I can find some deals on lawn Christmas décor right after Christmas as well.

here you have to get a permit from the mayors office but after that you can contact the electric company and they will send someone out to do it... some places use the fire company though.
