He simply took too much damage. He already got KOed multiple times, wasn't acting the best, expressed mind fog when covid hit him, now suffered severe beat down.... I feel sad :(

He look gassed when he should not be considering his past fights. His long battle with covid took a toll.

Naw not yet.
He just needs to get his body into shape before covid hit, wouldn't be surprised if Covid affected his cardio and the way he fights.
Not discrediting Font win at all that was a performance.

Cody was always overrated. I predicted this fight would go exactly the way it did. Made a lot of money on it too.
Etcetera...

He's 29, and it's his first fight back from a bad bout with covid. Stop beiong "that guy". His chin looked perfectly fine all fight long.

Cody's never had a bad chin though, it's ALWAYS been his defense and disregard for it when he Brawls, people like to bring up him getting caught with 3 Hooks in a Row while ignoring that it TOOK 3 clean Hooks in a row in rapid succession to put him down in BOTH fights against TJ, and Pedro.

Cody's chin being shot is a just a myth that's been parroted way to long that it's become "Fact" to some people when the reality was his defense lead to him being KO'ed, not his ability to take a shot.

the writing is on the wall. his best days are far, far behind him. hes not going to magically bounce back to how he was prior to getting knocked out 3 fights in a row.

some people dont want see 29 year old fighters keep getting CTE until they have more knock out losses than wins

He beat washed Cruz, washed Assuncao, washed Mizugaki, & no chin Almeida.

He looked fine tonight, was always overrated.

ahhh yes, just casually shit on all his wins.

Font is just that good, Cody struggles against guys who don't give up ground easily, and the reach disadvantage just compounded the issue.

This shouldn't be that surprising, Cody was getting pressured by Assuncao who has a 66" reach.

Cody is still a beast and tough as nails, many fun fights for him.

or maybe you shouldn't place bets on fights?
