I don't think anyone seriously thinks Conor is a GOAT. He made Alvarez look really bad though and he gives most fighters a hard time...
Close in skill perhaps but in terms of accomplishments at LW to be in GOAT talks, not at all.

GSP did it better. Not only did he do it after a long layoff and multiple injuries, he first completely wiped out the WW division several times over. If Conor had vacated the FW belt (which he should have done right away since he was never going to defend it) it's basically the same thing without all of the ring rust: one good win a weight class up against a weak champ.
I have a sneaking suspicion that his knees are far more fucked then he's let on. He's already torn both ACL's. I doubt he has much cage time left. He's done a tremendous job of staying relevant without fighting though. Motherfuckers can't stop talking about him.
