Also made fun of Asensaya for freezing against Romero, that hes not real champion.

As someone who used to reguarly spar with 16oz gloves, you can definitely get KO'd with them. Of course its harder to do because the size means the punches are easier to block and hand speed is slower, but if it lands correct it can do damage. Large gloves are mostly for hand protection. Pereira became a two division champ for Glory. Last I heard, he was interested in fighting in the UFC and his MMA record is 2-1.
But unlike him and most kickboxers, Israel did have much more MMA experience. He was 7-0 in MMA when Pereira KO'd him.

Not sure about that, striking with 4oz gloves is so much different from kickboxing. Lots of elite kickboxers have been KOED by wrestlers.
