Jacobs is still signed with HBO. They’re obviously hoping that the winner of the Canelo vs. Golovkin II fight will show interest in facing Jacobs. It’s unclear whether either of them will look Jacobs’ way. Golovkin is still interested in unifying the middleweight division, which means that he could face WBO middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders if he beats Canelo in the rematch.

If the fight fails to take place on HBO, then Jacobs will surely pass on it, because he’s still under contract with them. That might work out well for Derevyanchenko’s promoter Lou DiBella, because it would set the wheels in motivation for the next available top contender Demetrius Andrade to step in and face Derevyanchenko instead.

Hopefully Danny Jacobs has a couple more big name fights before he's done. Really like seeing him fight, just needs better opposition and deserves the $$$

I hope that Jacobs gets Derevyanchenko. He's a decent opponent and it seems like Jacobs performs best when he has someone good to fight against. A case of a fighter that rises to the occasion. And then I hope that he gets a shot at the winner of the GGG/Canelo showdown. He deserves a big fight. Always liked watching him.

Make it happen.. Danny will have leverage when GGG wins

Wasn't there a thread a couple of days ago saying that Andrade was the mandatory for Saunders?

Too bad it's not Jacobs vs Saunders and Andrade vs Derevyanchenko. Still Jacobs vs any of them sounds good.

Danny bless.
