Elections DeSantis has Jeb! energy

I am confident he will beat Trump then beat Biden. We don't need a stand up comedian in the white house we need someone that knows how to run things, he's going awesome in Florida.
 
Strange seeing the left alternate on a daily basis that he has no chance but also he’s the greatest threat to democracy that ever existed.

I agree he has no charisma, but he’s relatively popular and the MSM is rallying a lot of people to his cause by always trying a hit piece on him.

He sounds like the guy behind a camera in a porno, interviewing some 18 year old. “Wow.”

I think he will crumble in front of Trump, but he always has a chance. Don't see the contradiction in recognizing that he's a threat to progressive values.

I said democracy, not progressive values. The obvious contradiction is that he has to get voted in to bring in fascism, or whatever, but apparently he has no chance, so why is the left freaking out?
 
He's really not bad, and shouldn't be compared to Jeb in anyway. Still, he's going to have a hard time with Trump as the main challenge

The argument for him threatening democracy is harder to make, but it's there considering the way he has governed in Florida. In that regard though, I think Trump is equally destructive, considering his attempt to overthrow the election. Desantis is definitely looking to rule from a authoritarian theocratic point of view though, based on his track record and statements.

Again, I don't see the contradiction. People are recognising that he is a threat if he becomes president, yet it is looking less likely that he will become one if he goes against Trump. That wasn't the case a few months ago where Desantis was closing the gap. Doesn't require more than a tiny bit of nuance to coincide those two statements.

I mean he’s already demonstrated that he has no regard for the constitution if it gets in his way. I don’t know if he can get elected or not, but if he does then yeah he is a serious threat to the republic

DeSantis is awful, don't know how anyone can support the guy. Then again you guys did vote in Trump so I shouldn't be too mystified.
