I would be surprised if he remembers any of it the next day. That was a massive concussion to turn his lights out like that and cause the twitching and spazzing.

This is just a guess, but he may have been more dehydrated than normal if he was not expecting to fight and had to cut more water weight than usual. That can make a person more vulnerable to concussive damage.
