There's a few females I genuinely enjoy watching. Megumi Fujii in her heyday was good to watch, Miriam Nakamoto, Mizuki Inoue, Thug Rose is okay, Claudia Gadelha and a couple of others. For the most part though the fights aren't very high level and therefore aren't very compelling.
Love me some women on women scissoring action with the occasional zoomed in butt n cooch angles. Used to be better pre Reebok fight gear. mmmmmm miesha's ass jiggling
I don’t. I tried on 3 separate occasions, all three were terrible/boring.
Saw:
Bethe Correira vs Shayna Baszler
Alexa Grasso vs Randa Markos
Jessica Rose Clark vs Paige Vanzant
Lost interest bout a minute or two in for all of em.
Too be fair though, I also saw Jessica Andrade vs Cláudia Gadelha, and it was entertaining. But I was only kinda watching while browsing the internet
I did laugh when anik said "cooper said she's been striking for 15 years, if she gets caught by Dern she said she deserves to lose." Then, she got dropped by a horrible loopy right from left field.
But, I was sure Dern was going to win by a sub. So I thought ABC should have only commented once, and then move on. Otherwise she would end up looking silly. Turns out it went the way I thought it would.
Very unprofessional of Dern. ABC was 100% right. But she should have left it there. The stuff about Dern not getting out of the fight that easily was a bit cringe worthy.
I’m glad she finally shook hands after the official winner announcement. Stick to the high road. I believe most fans still want mma fighters to be respectful. It’s the Martial Arts part of MMA.
Absolutely do. In fact I find the women's divisions, particularly strawweight to be a hell of a lot more exciting than the male Flyweight and Light Heavyweight division right now. Arguably also the heavyweight division ever since the Ngannou hype train has sadly been derailed. Still I wouldn't have suggested to let a fight like Nunes vs Pennington headline a PPV card. A co-mainer spot would have been a better idea. The Rose vs Joanna match-up on the other hand could've easily main evented PPVs and they haven't used it in that spot even once.
I was more interested in Dern vs ACB than the main event.
I like certain WMMA fighters.
I'm a big Ronda fan. Hate her all you want but her fights were entertaining.
I know WMMA is newer than male MMA so i'm willing to allow the lack of technique & experience in their fights compared to the haters. If WMMA was around when the original UFC started then we'd be close to equal talent.
Most of the time WMMA come to bang, even if they don't have much power, more than most UFC fighters with wrestling backgrounds.
