Obviously not. Guy has exclusively beaten old guys on losing streaks in the last 5 years, 2 of which retired shortly after. Has sat on the sidelines over a year twice and been rewarded for it. But UFC gon’ UFC and sees him as the most profitable choice so that’s all the “deserve” he needs.
Sure. It's pretty much him or what's his face, and they didn't want to have a WW title fight on the prelims. Colby was the highest ranked contender when the fight was announced, and I'm not seeing too many people posting their massive bet slips for Leon on here.
Colby vs anyone at WW are the only WW fights that seem interesting. That's the problem. Everyone else seem to be stuck in some goofy win/loss ratio or in a desperate need for a signature win to get some mainstream attention, but, again, Colby is the only name you can munch some shine off of. So this is where we're at.
Fuck no. Belal and Shavkat both should be ahead of him. Dude hasn't beat someone coming off a win in 5 years. His last 5 fights are 2 losses in title fights and 3 wins over guys on a 2 fight losing streak. Dude should at minimum have to beat a legit top 5. Really should be fighting Shavkat while Leon rematches Belal. Dana White Privilege.
