Previous thread title :

Instances of challengers losing a title bout against the champ and getting an immediate rematch???

This never happens. At the moment I can only think of Shogun v Machida where Machida was the champ and Shogun lost and got an immediate rematch. But let's face it that first fight was called badly, even Machida's Dad said he lost - so I can see a rematch there

But Conor was beat super decisively. Who the fuck wants to see this match again besides over the top desperate Conor fans?

Seriously, many times when a champ loses they get an immediate title shot, especially following a long reign like Silva/Weidman because people can't handle it, but how often does a challenger try to get the belt, fail spectacularly and get an immediate rematch?????

But wait there's more!!

Read on, things take a hilarious turn when the word DOMINATE is debated - pages and pages of quality nonsense

On the flip side we had long time champ Jose Aldo who at the time didn't lose a fight in like 25 years , gets flash ko'd by Conor and doesn't get his rematch. The favoritism is sickening...

So fucking true man

This is the Conor show featuring UFC

This sport has become trash and tailored to the retarded

I remember Chael lost to Andy and then got a title shot against Jones, but that was two separate divisions and to save a main event.

I can't think of any contender who got two consecutive shots at the same champ without the first fight being somehow inconclusive.

It's just another undeserved title shot gifted to Conor. The UFC knows that if he has to actually fight his way to the title then he won't get there.

Dana wants to cash in on his cash cow before his investment evaporates completely.

I get that a lot of people hate Conor, and especially hate his fanboys on sherdog, but that was far from some sort of decisive destruction, and was in reality far more of a competitive grappling contest than I thought it would be. It wasn't really the most exciting fight, and not all that much happened, but it was competitive and Conor looked much better on the ground and Khabib much better on the feet than most people expected.

yeah the wonderboy one was a majority draw but even if it was a split for Woodley it was close enough to warrant a rematch, Saturday night was a dismantling, most underserving rematch in history or pretty close to it if it happens

I predict that we won't see an immediate rematch.

Which is why y0u watch?

I already got to see Conor get his ass kicked why do I need to see it again. Big fan of Khabib but let's move on from this dumb shit already

What gose around comes around, all the times conor got away with shit in the past, all the shit talk etc all come full circle when he got smashed by khabib, denying aldo and nate rematches etc, Let him get the rematch, he will get smashed once again and then what? he will be in a worse position legacy wise and mentally than if he had a couple of tune up fights and get his act together to actually deserve a rematch, Taking shortcuts in this game will always come back to bite you in the ass and that includes using the most disrespectful trash talk on earth to sell ppv's, it won't last and when you get your ass whooped after taking crazy shit, they money can't fix the severity of such a massive ego check. People are still under the illusion that the most famous and most wealthy fighter is the happiest.

Think my last post went over your head, I was implying you are retarted, although based upon your choice of drills, I already figured as much.

On a side note didn't you say conor was going to win/cheer for him, or was that me

Nothing goes over my head, I'm too fast, I would catch it. Imply or implode? Don't talk about my drill nothing gives you that right

I have never been once on Conor's side you don't even know me

I had bets all over the forum against Conor and won a shit load of Sportsbook cash on his loss, I'm going to go shopping later
