Back from a few hectic days in Disneyland Paris, definitely ready for a nice quiet Christmas with my girlfriend and sons now. I am booked in to see a specialist about my hernia on 30th December, just for initial consultation not the operation, but hopefully can get the op sorted soon afterwards.

The Star Wars prequels were bad for a number of reasons but the biggest issues were that the plot and the characters were very weak. No amount of CGI/practical effects could have fixed that.

Westworld was excellent. I just finished it on Sunday and am really interested to see where they go with season 2.

Foxcatcher was a good movie and seems like a really weird, sad situation.
i think the subsequent seasons are just gonna follow some predictable plot of the hosts either taking control, making their way out into the human world, or humans having to regain control or some shit like that, relying more and more on surprising sound effects and gratuitous sex and violence to remain entertaining.

first season was perfect though.

Sucks you got a hernia, I had 2 about 3-4 years ago, only good thing about it is that in china, they will just do the surgery like it's no big deal, I talked to the doctor and he basically pushed on the hernias and said "cough"....yup 2 hernis, we can fix it Thursday.

So at least I was able to get it sorted right away rather than waiting weeks or months before getting it fixed.

One thing I don't understand is everything I read was saying you'll be able to go home and even go back to work right away....that wasn't really my experience, I had to stay in the hospital that night, I wasn't going anywhere.

Alright gents, in case I don't get a chance to get on here tomorrow I hope you and your families have an awesome Crimbo. cheers

Yeah fuck you too, Kiwi. <3. Hopefully all of yours is better than mine.

My son broke his arm for a nice early Christmas gift. The ER was surprisingly quick though. He's now zooed out on the couch on codeine.

Damn dude sorry to hear that.

"Zood out"????

It seems unusual for a hospital to pass out marijuanas to children. I wouldn't imagine that to be standard protocol.

Ah yes.. I remember my first marijuana plant experience.
Was at a house party, got drunk, got high, fingered my mates sister in the gully around the side of her house and projectile vomited over my mates step mums car.
Good times.

And by gully i mean an actual gully, not her slime box...

But I did finger bang her slime box.
