DWCS 2023, Week 2 — which streams to ESPN+ at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT—features a lightweight clash pairing Abdul Kareem Al-Selwady with George Hardwick. Al-Selwady, 28, has held titles in the Fury Fighting Championship, Brave Combat Federation and Desert Force promotions. The Fortis MMA-trained Jordanian has rattled off four consecutive victories. Hardwick, meanwhile, enters the cage on the strength of an eight-fight winning streak. The 26-year-old Englishman last appeared on April 15, when he punched out Yann Liasse to retain the Cage Warriors Fighting Championship lightweight crown at CW 152.

Agreed! His real name a better fit than the commonly used baby face for younger looking fighters, which will eventually age out. But your real name that actually says something as a fighter, that's forever...

I think fighters feel like they need a nickname, I feel like the best nicknames a lot of the time are the ones that aren't forced like "pitbull" "sugar" "baby faced killer/assasin". If you become known for something and you gain a nickname because of that then it's cool but you don't need to like force a nickname imo.
