I don't know much about Icke and once I read about lizard people, I stopped reading because I thought he was full of shit. Knew nothing about his antisemitism or much else about him. Just mentioned how many of the ex-govt/ folks and main UFO/UAP analysts have often said things about how the govt or govts of the world know about them and are even in contact with them. One guy even said that we do not have above ground nuclear tests anymore because some creature from another dimension told us to stop because it was effecting them. Interesting stuff and the guys who talk about it these days do not come across as attention seekers or kooks, at least not complete kooks. They seem like rational, level headed folks who are usually fairly smart.

I agree that dealing with things you can't understand or fathom, including spiritual shit can scramble a person's brains, I knew a guy who was deep off into all of it and he was definitly in his own world, (sorry, don't want to say anything too negative because I recently found out he died last year). He also got my brother into past life regressions and my mom, like you, said, "he's messing around with something he shouldn't be". My brother actually is gifted with something, he can tell by someone's presence if they'll die soon, I've seen him do it. He say something about an aura but not much else.

the main thing I've learned is that whatever the phenomenon is its deceptive and I don't trust ANYTHING about it... nothing. if it is what I think it is then the intelligence behind it is light-years ahead of us.... that means the best policy is to believe NONE of it and take none of it to heart and that way you cant be manipulated by it.

I see your point about projecting belief systems onto it but some of it is just a matter of using different words for the same thing. I was on a Quaker website once and they were comparing the old list of symptoms people display for demonic possession and the new list for alien abduction and they were identical.....

im not sure it matters what the words you use for it are when the result is the same... also assuming they want our destruction is maybe not an assumption that needs to be made. what if they are energetic beings who feed on us and get more to eat when there is intense emotion involved? in that case sewing discord and disorder would be the end goal... food.

The song I was writing was related to the documentary "Streetwise" from 1984 or so, anyway, my sister was in it and I've always been obsessed with it and was watching it over and over again during the writing of my song. I had a clear, vision during that time that it was demons wandering around causing so much strife in these young kids' lives. I absolutely can believe it. As far as the projections? It's been said that people used to see leperchauns or culture specific creatures, but not we see modern versions of things, could be.

The interesting thing is, there have apparently been accounts of the these "aliens" both turning off and turning on nuclear weapons. Could be there are different species, and could be that even if they are a same species, if they are like us, they'll have good and evil.

I got way into Irish folklore for a while doing research for songwriting and what blew my mind aside from obvious cultural differences was how similar our paranormal activity is with faeries and the like... I think its the same thing basically. but if it manifests differently for different cultures then the Irish are really neat people because nothing is as interesting as the faerie lore!!

tell me more about the circumstances and quality of the vision you had man. that is pretty interesting to me.

Icke is I think a good example of how people can transition from hippe/alt lifestyles into the far right, I'v seen direct evidence of it around me as well living in quite a hippish town in the cotswolds were hippie types have been running a stall on the street disrupting "The Light" newspaper which includes a load of antisemtic far right conspiracy theory stuff in it, draws people in with anti vax stuff and then converts them into thinking jewish lizard people run the world.

This is not the first time this happened either, a lot of suffragettes ended up being facists in the Uk/US. I think part of it is facism appeals to the disaffected, its about selling an easy fantasy and letting your anger loose.

Its also why I think the suppression of genuinely socialist politics in the west is such a dangerous thing, without an genuine democratic progressive outlet a lot of people turn to the far right instead IMHO which the establishment is more willing to put up with as it was in the 30's.

well, i don't even know if it could be called a vision, it was a dream, but, it seemed so real. I was sick, exhausted but determined to finish that song. For "inspiration" I watched the docu and made myself as depressed a possible. Anyways, it was like I stepped back in time and place where the docu was filmed, and I could see demons going too and fro, floating around making mischief wherever they could, no rhyme or reason to it, just doing it to do it, as if it were their only function.

Ironically, at that time, I was also considering being a pro fighter, in that exhausted state, I went to the gym. One of the fighters their, who admired me after our first sparring session asked to spar again, i told him no, he kept pushing until I said yes. Obviously, I couldn't protect myself and his true self came out. Also, I plain did not want to hurt anyone and my coach and I knew I could, so, in that state, I let him just whale on me, 3 full rounds, too tired to move much or anything. I say that was ironic because later on, this same guy went nuts and killed his gay lover, it was as if at that point in time, a lot of things were converging, and this guy ended up being one of the folks who had just as tragic a life, maybe demonically influenced as anyone in that film. He's serving life in prison today. It's just so ironic because I started to get a real distaste for violence after I nearly killed a guy who was way too big to play with in a security position, shortly before that. I really started to want to get away from hurting people who really couldn't defend themselves if I lost control. Hell ya, I believe demons influence us, I can't even understand some of the things I've done, I just wish I hadn't done many of them. And others that I've known, some of the shit they've done, don't even seem like them at all.

Also, the guy that killed someone, I say it's ironic because it seems that we were both at a similar crossroads, either get more violent or calm the fuck down. In most of the situations I was in, (sparring with clutzes, arresting drunk shoplifters) it was not a good idea to pull out all the stops. That started to put some distance between I and my own martial arts mentor and it got me bitten by women and so forth, but.., that was all a way of beginning to distance myself from raw, unfocussed violence.

Also, the killer seemed to be from the opposite side of the fence from me and my family. My family were outcasts, my sister was a teen prostitute, this kids dad was asst. police chief of Seattle. I always thought of a sort of dichotomy and yin/yang thing. He looked to have the world in his hand, had all sorts of opportunities and yet, something was certainly in his background that made him just like me and my family.
