I'm pretty sure it's just you, dude. I never had any trouble getting dates, and I'm not that tall, handsome or athletic. But, if I wanted to take a girl out and hopefully get laid, I'd make an effort, not be creepy about it and let it go if it didn't seem like it was going to work out.
