This is nothing at all like LeBron leaving Cleveland. Those dinks were up 3-1 and had nobody to blame but themselves for dropping three in a row. In the close out game at home, Durant played the absolute worst game I've ever seen him play. So it's not like his situation is comparable to LeBron joining Miami in that Durant couldn't win in OKC. Or that he didn't have the talent surrounding him. A Finals berth was in his hands for three games and he played the absolute worst game of his career in the most winnable game of the series. Then he goes and leaves for the team he lost to who couldn't beat LeBron in the Finals. It's giving me Iggy flashbacks. The only difference is Iggy already defected to Golden State, while playing against them in the playoffs.
Actually it is.
Lebron had 60 + win teams those years n those teams were made to suit his ball dominant style.
He was enjoying his 30/8/8 seasons, but when he couldn't make to the finals in weaker east , he took the easy way out n teamed up with his Allstar buddies.
What Durant did is on another lvl, but it's definitely comparable
