Crime FBI uses image of well-dressed White women to depict organized retail crime

Is this a fair depiction of organized retail theft in America?

True. Or it is an outdated prototypical AI.
Artificial, sure. But intelligent?
they're trying.
can't seem to go beyond the "you're upset!" stage tho.

Ladies, I've got a bit more "AI" for you:

The irony is that the NPC meme was created for people who post the same talking points you see on every media outlets nonstop. You guys cried non stop saying Dems were the ones pushing culture wars horseshit and turned into your entire party's platform lmao.

Asks "who's crying"

Proceeds to cry in the rest of your post.

Another day, another conservative outrage thread. Another day of getting big mad when people laugh at you for being babies.

Shows examples of how Democrat Policies are hurting black communities = Crying

lol... it's hilarious how many of you are completely incapable of holding an intelligent discussion.

Like having a disagreement with irrational X-wife who resorts to name calling every time she's losing an argument

lol...

It's ok, I take it as a badge of honor.

Is the claim here that while women don't steal? Or only that presenting white women when discussing retail theft is unacceptable?

Because the majority of theft is actually committed by white people.

This is sort of emblematic of how people have become conditioned to perceive criminality in only one form. The image of a white woman stealing drives some people to be offended by that presentation. But if it was a black woman's image, they probably wouldn't even notice.

Yet a quick check of larceny and theft stats would show that 2/3rds of the arrests for theft in this country are of white people. So, why are people offended by the use of a white woman's image? Because they have been conditioned to associate crime with minorities, not with the majority population. And so the presentation strikes them as unnatural and forced, even though it is probably closer to reality.

@SKYNET

I genuinely don't know what point you're trying to make. The stats are easy to look up. Sure, black Americans commit more theft relative to their percentage of the population. But the white Americans are stealing things at 2x the rate. Since those are the stats, it doesn't make sense to complain about the use of an image that is in line with the criminal subgroup.

It's not even an unfair presentation, the majority population is going to be responsible for the majority of the crime in most circumstances.

A couple of points...

- Per capita, it's not even close
- Several democrat run cities have stopped prosecuting crimes under a certain dollar amount. So, there are several thefts that go undocumented in these areas.
- The FBI post claims that these organized retail thefts (IE - smash & grabs, not typical shoplifting) are leading to businesses closing in some areas.

There's several stories how retail stores are closing... And how these closings are hurting the residents in these areas. And it's not majority white neighborhoods

Over-all? I can definitely see how there's more retail thefts committed by white offenders, but you have to take in other factors and the types of thefts that the FBI was posting about.

Bro, I'm sure the FBI is really hurting the black communities by posting a picture of a white lady shoplifting, which is what the thread is about lol.

Create another rage bait thread. Just like every other day. Will it be trannies tomorrow, pronouns, DEI, rigged elections, or lgbtq crying?

If you gave a rats ass about the black communities, then you wouldn't be getting big mad over a white lady from a stock Google image in a thread about retail theft. This shit should probably be item#1,029,274,284,248
of all the things you could rage about.

Oh no. I am so concerned about what images the fbi uses to depict crime. That is a very serious issue that absolutely impacts my personal life.

What is hurting black communities is the lack of accountability. Your post is supportive of this behavior.

Topic is organized retail theft, not just random theft.

How many of these do you think were arrested?
Since we're talking actual arrests.

LOL.

Yea, sure that's it. I'm sure all the people out there commiting retail theft are looking at FBI Twitter about retail theft, then going out and committing retail theft because they posted a picture of a white lady?

If only they had posted a picture of somebody with a skin color that you didn't like...that would have stopped retail theft in its tracks. This is definitely what we should be concerned about.

Sure..... you nailed it!

The majority of people we busted for theft were white women in their thirties or forties. That was followed by teenagers trying to steal liquor or alcohol. Yeah, the image is accurate.

In this thread, people refuse to believe that white people can engage in organized crime, lol.

Per capita might not be close but in terms of absolute theft, it's not even close going in the opposite direction.

As for not prosecuting crimes, why wouldn't that also benefit white Americans? They live in democrat run cities too. In fact, most cities are majority white, even the Democrat run ones.

See, the problem as I see it as that most people in this thread are basing their interpretation off the images they see in the news, not any real understanding of what actually happens on the street.

People get fed a steady image of black offenders and they've become conditioned to think of the crime solely in the context of black offenders, they simply no longer even consider the possibility that non-black people could be involved. Of course, it doesn't hurt that many people already think of black Americans and crime and other negative characteristics as interchangeable, that makes it easier to turn off their critical thinking in these areas.

But the reality is organized retail theft isn't a racial crime. People from all backgrounds engage in theft and people from all backgrounds organize themselves to commit theft. The charging record shows that 2/3rds of the theft is committed by white people.

Is there some credible argument supporting the idea that white people are less capable of organizing their retail crimes, even if it doesn't make the 6 o'clock news? Of course not. White people are capable of organizing themselves in every endeavor they pursue and they certainly pursue theft so it stands to reason that they would also be engaged in organized theft.

Every thing else is just people pushing their conditioned beliefs about what a criminal should look like over the statistical reality of what it looks like.

Surely then there must be hundreds of videos of gangs of white people breaking into malls, stealing everything off the racks and running away carrying the merchandise.

Why do you think pictures are more credible than statistics?

If I show you a picture of a white criminal will that change your perspective?

That is a retail theft ring. Notice how they are not all black?

Per Capita is a very important stat and maybe the most important. But Maybe the CEO of NETFLIX is in charge of the photos FBI depicts.
