Fighters that just vanished

Paul Sass
I actually looked him up last week because I was wondering what happened to him (literally vanished at such a young age).

He was an exciting young submission specialist who was fun win or lose. He got cut from UFC and immediately went to bellator to win via toe hold in 2013 but then nothing since then.

Wtf happened to Stephen Bonnar? He got popped for roids against AS then disappeared
Travis Lutter
What happened to Tyrone Sprong?
Barao didn't disappear he just kept losing.

Bonnar is 43. He retired ar 37. Not something unusual.

Lutter is 47. He retired at 37. Again, nothing weird.

Saki broke Spong's leg. He gave up on kickboxing and is a boxer now.

Tre Telligman is buried somewhere in the Nevada desert after Big Timmy headkicked him dead.

Amir Sadollah, Dennis Kang, Alan Belcher, Renan Barao, Rob Emerson, Sam Stout, Spencer Fisher. Who's some others?
Sadollah got cut after his loss to Akiyama, don't know if Kang ever openly retired since he was before my time, but he stepped away after Manhoef rearranged his insides with a knee.

Belcher is running his gym now, had guys like Jason Knight and Brandon Davis in the UFC. Emerson has been fighting all over the world for quite a while, ranging from Bellator all the way to ACA. Barao recently signed with a new org that popped up, Stout retired after getting KO'd by Frankie Perez (also suffering the same fate in a few of his previous fights), and Fisher also retired a while back.

Really, retirement is simply the answer for a bunch of the old guys - not everyone is going to pull a Watt Miman and come back to get whopped by younger guys.

David Tarrell. Goran Reljic
Terrell stepped away due to chronic injuries, one of the few guys back then to get released for simply not being able to make it into the cage. He's a coach now.

Reljic had a decent thing for a bit in KSW but spiraled down after Narkun avenged his loss and finished him.
