- About 2 years ago this guy was attacked by an alligator while searching for Megaladon teeth. His injuries have healed.
- He says it could have been more serious if not for the camera on his head
- He has a company that sells Megaladon teeth, and donates the profits to research orgs.

Note to self, fuck looking for Megalodon teeth.

Hope he has no lingering effects.

Well if you must then look in waters where there aren't large predators that can hurt you, or just look for Meg teeth on land.

Swimming in Florida rivers and lakes can be dicey if alligators are known to be in the area.

Also kinda ironic he was looking for Megaladon teeth and is attacked by another prehistoric aquatic animal while doing so.

Should be fine, I've put it in a spoiler with a graphic tag just in case

Unfortunately you are gonna have to do most fossil hunting near shore line. We used to go boating all summer. If you get out in some of the bigger lakes you just stay out in the open water to avoid gators. Works every time

His head looks like a baseball.

Couldn't they have just spared the man some dignity and at least shaved his entire head?

Yeah seems like a bad idea all the way around sir.

As fucked up as it may seem i'd rather take a head bite than it grabbing a limb or soft parts..

Funny enough I plan on going to one of these places up North (Florida) to look for mainly Megalodon teeth, I've already seen gators in a few places even kayak with them, you just have to have awareness of your surroundings, gators aren't aggressive apex predators, they are opportunist predators.
