He clearly regrets saying it in the moment and took the high road and apologized. He wasn't wrong, though. I was there, and Jorge was glowing like the literal street Jesus. He definitely greased, and you'll notice that Burns did not once actually mention Jorge "not cheating" in his apology.

A big boy move for sure, kudos to him.

He did the right thing. Despite what he believes or is sure of, there was just no vested interest or need to throw that accusation out there towards a fighter that’s just retired. Leaves a bit of a bad taste even if true, as Burns got the win anyway. Take the W and move on
