Hey, I just read Falling Hard by Mark Law. It's about the author's personal journey into judo, and goes over the history of the sport as well. There's a lot of interesting stories both about different judoka as well as different training programs.

I was wondering if anyone else could recommend any good books to read that may be similar. I'm looking more for a look at the history of one of the styles, or someone's experience with it. I'm not looking for any instructional books. It could be about judo, BJJ, wrestling (of any kind), etc.

The Professor in the Cage by Jonathan Gottschall is kind of interesting.

Fighters Heart, Fighters Mind, Cauliflower Chronicles, BJ Penn Biography Why I Fight ( I think that is what it's called)
