They've already demonetized virtually every right leaning channel on YT, even one's that aren't remotely egregious or have hate speech, etc...

My dude Razorfist got a vid demonetized that had literally him just sitting there and the video was titled (best video games of 2017)....he did it as a test, and sure enough.....

They've also demonetized basically everything to do with any violence, like video game content and historical channels.

Just because it's targeting some things you like, doesn't mean they're only targeting things you like.

1 = A

2 = A

That doesn't mean 1 = 2
 
Well if they go after those fucked up #Elsagate videos and shit like that, it's a good thing I guess. There has been a lot of really messed up pedo related videos on YouTube and it needs to be cleaned up. But I wonder if that' really what they're gonna be doing. And that video about parents explaining maturation to their kids is really disturbing, I can't believe that multiple people thought that was a good thing.

I am wondering if they can find 10,000 people willing to do that job?
I applied for that kind of job a couple of years ago at a hosting company.
I was already a bit suspect about it, but it would have been a step up career-wise.
Told them 5 minutes into the interview I wasn't cut out for it. No way am I going to review the shit the internet considers extreme.

I try to go through life experience as little misery as possible. Not sure how youtube does it but its usually looking at hardcore child porn, dead people, and tortured animals etc.
I wouldn't do it for 10 million per year.

I generally find this true. As about the only stuff getting monetized is asinine prank videos, clothing and make up videos, or just stupid videos of people trying to be funny... Shit like the Bath tub challenge videos..

Not really. They might as well not exist. Only youtube is big enough to actually make real money on. The rest are like gnats, so sure they physically exist but they might as well not as they are completely pointless.

Policing content where any nutjob with email access can open an account. Sounds like hell. Who would do such a job...
