Actually MMA Weekly ranks GSP number 1. Having acquired belts in 2 divisions and possibly going for his third is far greater than anything DJ has done while he cowards down in the little boy weight class. DJ doesn’t seek out competition he seeks out cans to make his winning streak longer. Those that seek competition out of their weight class after dominating all in it are true P4P champions just like Sugar Ray Robinson did ( the original P4P G.) sugar wasn’t the smallest fighter, he was game about fighting competition at any weight. Current fighter P4P should be GSP, Bones Jones , DC and Connor.

No top 5 win at MW nor WW in many years. Too lazy to look it up but if you want to help GSP by counting the Hendricks fight where he got beat up then it's probably 4-5 years ago since he won against a top 5 opponent.

Last win before that was a decision win over Condit who is 3-10 in his last fight.

Yeah because wins over LWs too scared to move to WW during his era that are now top 10 WWs really means a whole lot in terms of his career.

GSP had an amazing career and he's easily a future hall of famer and top 5 all time in the UFC. I just don't see how he's possibly top 10 p4p right now with one win over a fringe top 10 MW in the last 5 years.

Actually just looked up his record and it shows a win.

Also, you need to learn how MMA judging works. It's very simple, even for a slow individual like yourself. Rounds are scored separately meaning that all you have to do is win 3 rounds, which GSP did. Hendricks won 2, he lost. The only reason people thought this was a controversy, is because GSP looked human (while still winning) for the first time in 6+ years.

When talking about GOAT we're looking just at what the fighter did in the cage.

If someone is trying to use that argument to discredit GOAT, then that's the bottom of the barrel argument.
