Hahaha ...just got back from Thailand .

So many knock off merchadise.

"Dino world " instead of Jurassic world

Outside of Bangkok there's also a place called Dream World. Basically a big Disney World rip off. It was pretty fun though.

alright this doesn't beat Robert Cop the but the "he dared to dream and never stopped believing" makes it close. I remember this thread being done at least two or three times before and seen most of these already but damn I can't stop laughing at these.

Isnt that just how Knnikuman figures were licensed in america by Mattel?

Talking about strange licensing issues there is a figure that is part of the Transformers and Robotech/Macross canon (Robotech and Macross having theor own continuity issues in american vs japanese version).

As some people here will know Hasbro bought all the transformers models mostly from japanese toymaker Takara from their Diaclone and Microman lines (and then Marvel comics created the backstory for the Transformers series separating cars as good guys and everithing else as bad gusy at first).

But Hasbro also bought some toys from Takaras rival companys (the most famous being Jetfire, Omega Supreme and Shockwave).

Hasbro bough Jetfire model from a small company called Takatoku that had designed the toy for the Macross anime, Takotu went out of business and Bandai bought the company, later when Robotech became popular in America they also sold the same figure here as a Robotech figure.
