Hey, fan here that has watched all UFC main card's since UFC 152. 2012.

Mma was very difficult to get in the UK before we had decent internet.

I have recently started to watch the early UFC cards starting at 1 and now upto 10.

I have searched, but so far have been unsuccessful.

Does anyone know of a list all major mma events that are in chronological order. Including Pride, Strikeforce, other smaller promotions that were relevant to mma history.

Or a list of all events / fights that almost make up essential history upto the present day.

Realise that is some peice of work, but know there are some superfans out there who put time to this kinda thing.

Thanks for help in advance.

Been checking in daily on sherdog for around 5 years, but as I am usally behind on current events I don't have much to add.

Peace.

Cards? what is that?

Pancrase 1993,

UFC 1993,

Some great Vale Tudo tournaments. Universal Vale tudo tournament, Vale Tudo Japan, World vale tudo championship,

MARS 1996,

International Vale Tudo championship 1997,

Pride 1997-2007

The End,

Thanks that didn't show under any of my searches. Just what I'm after, it does finish at UFC 61. I will continue to search (poorly) for an up to date list

Thanks
The second link goes all the way up to UFC 205, where are you looking?

You could probably find the ufc 1-50s dvds in a box set for $25

Or be a real fan and have watched every event live like me and my Sherbros

Go to tapology search events history has pretty much every card from every organization.

You guys didn't have decent internet until 2012?

Edit: Just to add to the topic -- there's been MMA for years before UFC 1, so if you really want a proper historical perspective, look into that.

You can find some footage of Gene LeBell, old Shooto from the 80's -- early 90's, etc.

Wikipedia is a good source for all that too. It’s really easy to find information on the web.

People claim that technology should make us smarter. Unfortunately some people don’t even understand the good that comes with technology, one of which is the ability to answer any question you ever have on your life.

Order as many Pride DVDs online as possible. When said DVD’s arrive consume Coffee or Energy drink and let your education begin.

Yes that is fantastic. Thanks.

And yes we had good Internet connection, I had meant that content and access to finding out about MMA events was not very evident.

I hear James Thompson is having a garage sale.

Where's the Pancrase, Rings, and Shooto.

Good god I've watched a lot of MMA over the years.
