Herb Dean Adesanya/Vettori fight

Dean started calling for "work" less than 5 seconds after Vettori scored his takedown in the 3rd round. I have never seen that before. He also started shouting for "work" as soon as they got back to their feet along the fence. Then he broke the clinch and re-started. Even Cormier said he thought that was premature. Did Dean think this was a kickboxing match? The only consistent thing about Dean is his inconsistency.
