Never really seen aldo have to deal with leg kicks from a southpaw who goes inside with it in the open stance, though. Not to mention Aldo has been a boxer only for over a year now and is old.

Martinez will get Weidman’d / Silvia’d if he gets reckless with the leg kicks. Aldo can check kicks like you would not believe. See Jeremy Stephen’s fight as an example.

Stephens is orthodox throwing outside leg kicks. Like I said, we have never seen also have to deal with inside leg kicks from a southpaw, and martinez regularly goes shin to shin.
