Imagine...if Ngannou knocks Fury out

It's not far from impossible. It's close to impossible.

Could happen though, and pigs could actually fly.

If you are a combat sports historian, you know damn well that it is very much possible. This is the HWs after all. Anything could happen. Yes, the chips are stacked heavily against Francis, but Fury shouldnt take him lightly. All it takes is one punch.

You dont know boxing if you think Francis is comparable technically. Wilder got bronze at 08 Olympics as an amateur. Francis could never have a prayer in doing that.

Wilder did that mainly through sheer power. Hes not exactly a technical wizard and he fights in one of the weakest divisions in boxing.

PFL would be one happy fuckers if he does knock out Tyson and bring all that hype to his 1st PFL fight and especially if he wins and captures the belt there.

I wanna see first whether Francis can hit Fury with the big gloves. If he indeed can connect, ofc he has a chance.
If that doesnt happen Fury will likely TKO a tired Francis like R7-R8

It was mostly power but he def flashed some technique too. Youd have to be delusional if you think Francis and Wilders boxing technique is comparable in any way.

I never said that. All I said is that Wilder isnt a technical boxer at all and looks great against subpar competition.

His jabs suck. Footwork sucks. He leaves himself wide open when he throws. He may very well be the worst boxer in the technical aspect to hold a major title.

People compare him to Tyson, but Tyson had excellent movement and devestating speed and timing at his best. Deontay doesnt come close.

Let's go!

The lineal heavyweight champion against a former UFC champion.

it's not that unlikely

Fury is hit plenty. Ofc Ngannou wouldn't beat him - at boxing. As in, win more rounds. But the idea of him landing one or multiple knock out shots? If he goes for it? It's not quantum physics here... he's a big strong man with long arms and a very hard punch - who will be in a square ring with another man. He can and will very likely hit Fury.

Question is will it keep Fury down. N will he land the right one.

Other question is, is that even going to be 'allowed' or is this a bullshit exhibition fight. Let's see.

Even at 60, he'll still have the skills to take out an MMA fighter in a Boxing match. Much like Randy Couture would still GNP the best boxer in the world in MMA, at the same age.
Francis is primarily a boxer, it’s not beyond the realm of possibility he catches Fury, Fury is not Mayweather.

Nothing is impossible

But the most probable outcome is that Fury absolutely destroys Ngannou in their boxing match

Boxer or "striker"? There's a BIG difference.

Look man, Jake Paul isn't knocking out MMA vets, because he's just that good. He's just better at Boxing than they are. And that's Jake Paul...not Tyson fucking Fury.

Don't get caught up in the hype. If it's an actual fight and not some lame sparring exhibition, Fury could very well kill the dude. Not joking. It's a totally different sport, even if it's similar on the surface. Even in an exhibition, Ngannou is leaving with his head twice the size it was. It'll be an easier night for Fury, than sparring with his actual sparring partners on any given day.

Wilder is the hardest hitting human of all time.
And he is a deceptively good boxer when he isn't going for the finish.
A knockout by Ngannou simply will not happen.

You're talking to some of the same people who thought CM Punk would be anything more than an embarrassment in MMA.

MMA fans just do not respect the discipline and skill set of other sports. May as well be hoping for Ngannou to beat Usain Bolt in the 100m dash, because he ran really fast on one of his intros one time. It's so silly.

I'm an avid boxing defender (on this forum at least) I'd love to see it.

Likely afterwards Francis would get another big boxing match or pfl ufc would have to make the Jones ngannou fight right away as the odds lightning strikes twice and he KOs fury than beats say an usyk or joshua is close to a 0 percent chance.

Fury used to be really successful with movement and has become a flat footed boxer who definitely leans alot but is not a big puncher and also takes quite a few punches.

Ngannou fought an exhibition with Carlos Takam and didn't win but didn't do terrible and Takam is pretty solid (nowhere close to Fury)

He also sparred Joe Joyce who said he was decent but not really near world.level.

Wilder punches harder than ngannou tho.

Please substantiate this claim.

We don't know who has more power actually, but we know both are powerful.
