So Ishii vs. Cro Cop isn't happening . Fujita is an interesting fight I suppose but he's way past his best.

Hopefully after this fight he comes to the states and signs with a major promotion.

Fujita is a bigger name in Japan than any of Ishii's last six opponents.

They will probably do 4 or 5 MMA fights featuring Yusuke Kawaguchi possibly fighting a foreigner and some other fights possibly. Most of them will be heavyweight fights I'm sure.

Not a major JMMA event, but Pancrase Bayside Fight 2 is on NYE too in Yokohama, Japan.

Edit: Nvm realized it was a NYE event, they put on a pretty solid event last year with a good amount of MMA fights.

But Fujita hasn't fought in 4 years and hasn't won in 6.

He and Ishii should be paired with more appropriate opponents.

ishii does not pose the same threat as ubereem did though. if he comes in, in good shape, then i like fujita's chances

It's pretty much in line with Ishii's other IGF opponents. Rizzo, McCorkle while he was on vacation, Kerry Schall, etc.

easy win for ishii, i know hes not beating prime guys, but still wins over :jerone le banner, minowa, sylvia, rizzo, and monson arent easy
