International Iran begins attack on Israel, launching dozens of drones that’ll take hours to arrive

Again, self-fulfilling prophecy.

Because its not politically expedient, political support for Israel is an easy cake because it doesn't affects the average American.

A war with Iran would definitively affect the average American.

How? No one is seriously advocating invading Iran. But bombing Iran until the rubble is bouncing won't cost any American lives. I suppose it might effect oil prices, or raise the terror threat, but beyond that what impact would it have on the West?

Without a global superpower to have their back at all times they will be ripped to shreds by the wolves that surround them. Iran and pretty much every Arab state wants them dead.

The Arab Nations have tried that before. More than once. It didn't work out too well for them. And if by some miracle they do manage to get the win for a change, they won't have much time to savour their victory before the IDF turns a significant percentage of the Middle East into a glass car park.

Do you even Samson Option, bro?

Yeah, beyond creating chaos in the place where 30% of the oil world supply comes from and creating a massive refugee crisis that certainly won't be beelining to Europe what could possibly go wrong?

Might still be the lesser of two evils when compared to Iran with nuclear weapons.

"Sure it might destabilize global energy markets, lead to an upswing in terrorism, and trigger a refugee crisis in a country 4x the size of Syria but other than those very likely and catastrophic consequences what else could go wrong?"

Some people never learn I guess.

Israel defeated them in the past using vastly superior tech and a surprise attack. That's less the case now and it will be even further from the case in 50 years. Egypt has a huge population and its still growing, Israel has never had to face an enemy as technologically advanced as Iran.

You mean the Iran who launched 200 drones and missiles and didn't manage to land a single punch?

Also, it was Egypt, Syria and Jordan who carried out a surprise attack during the Yom Kippur War. They still got their asses kicked so badly Israel ended up with more territory than before the war started.

Arabs can't fight. Period.

Yet every year they develop a bit more, their population grows a bit more. China will also want to use its ties to Iran to project influence in the region. Sooner or later the tiny country of Israel with have to come to terms with the reality that it's a tiny country surrounded by big countries that want to destroy it. Regardless of how bad Arabs suck at war it's clearly an artificial condition for Israel to be able to defeat everyone all at once and it won't last forever.

The Arabs better hope it lasts forever. Because as I mentioned up-thread, the Samson Option means there will be no real winners.

The days of MAD are long gone because of the great advances to missile defense systems. Israel put this on full display destroying every missile Iran launched at it. Even if Israel did get a few nukes off and destroyed a few cities the Arabs would consider it worth it because they hate Israel that much.

Dont take that Iran attack seriously. That was a ton more domestic appeasement with a predictable low-success probability attack than an actual act of War. Its pretty clear Iran wasn't want regional destabilization. Israel, on the other hand, seems to have an ideological (Greater) Israel they believe they're divinely entitled to, and will slap the sh*t out of nearly anyone to get it.

Which is why Arabs cannot be allowed to play with the grown up's toys. The buggers do enough damage with knives and AK's.

Even if Iran had taken it's best shot, they still wouldn't have achieved much beyond provoking Israel into bombing the fuck out of them. Which they'll probably do anyway.

Lmao the entire Middle East trying to take down Israel would look like the women’s flyweight division trying to take on a prime Mike Tyson
Israel isn't nearly that formidable without the West, America in particular.

Bro what are you smoking the tech gap is even larger today.

Iran sucks, lmao.

Even in this complete fantasy world you live in where the West cuts off support to Israel, they are literally wealthy enough to just buy direct from international corporations and technologically advanced enough to just make more war materials themselves.
