It's happening again where I live(western wa). No cheap 9mm or 223 can be found, and 7.62x39 has been gone for a couple weeks already.

What's the situation in other parts of the country right now? I wish people would just chill and not stockpile ammo. It was nice being able to afford to go to the range again the last couple years.

Just gather the stuff you need and find a reloading bench pretty easy to make yourself

Fuck me man, wish i could buy a pump action and an automatic rifle here in Sweden. Only thing i got is machetes and pepperspray to protect my family

Try cheaperthandirt.com. I just got 500rds of .40 for $160 delivered.

Lame.

I thought you could have a double barell Shotgun or black powder rifles for home defense in Sweden?

I was reading about how there was a shortage of shotguns in Europe because of the rising crime.

Yeah, I've been looking online, and there seems to be plenty of ammo available.

It's just my local Walmart and gun stores that I've seen ammo disappear

Isn't Walmart getting out of gun sales? It might extend to ammo sales also. They probably can't strong arm anybody into selling them ammo cheap. Online sales might be pricing everybody out of the market.

Sweden and France are two countries where I have absolutely zero doubt that there will be a civil war within the next decade. I would buy something off-the-books (Mälmo?) and stash it somewhere.

Online sales are just the way to go. Bulkammo.com and atlantaarms.com are both good ways to get solid ammo for cheap. Way better than paying for it by the box at absurd prices.

Interesting. Why do you think that?

I don't man , WalMart is about the cheapest place I know of to get ammo. You can buy brass cased 9mm for .20 a round , I've yet to see that reliably online.....shipping usually makes it even worse.

The many signs in both countries that mass-immigration from non-Western countries has become unmanageable plus the rapid rate of immigration preventing both governments from implementing policies which might (temporarily) attenuate the currently rising ethnic tensions in both countries. There are some other factors;

Sweden
-Though you may have noticed that the political establishments of all Western countries are absolutely adamant that their current populations must become diversified and borders must remain open at all cost; The Swedish ruling class has been successful in completely shutting down dissident voices which unlike other countries prevents a relatively open discussion about immigration. In the Netherlands this was similar until Pim Fortuyn was assassinated in 2002 for his moderate opposition to mass-immigration.
-The on-going housing shortage in Sweden.
-Sweden only has a population of 9+ million inhabitants but basically has a free-for-all immigration policy.

France
-There is evidence that Native French in the age-category 0-5 will soon become a minority.
-The Socialists in France have established links with a massive Algerian/immigrant voting block. You may remember the many Algerian flags when President Hollande was elected.

Both countries have many areas which can be described as no-go-zones(zones urbaines sensibles in France). These are breeding grounds for Islamic radicalism and minority ethnic nationalism.

In both countries you will find a burgeoning nationalist movement (as in all European countries excl. the UK) which is continually in conflict with the established parties. The Swedish movement is especially hardened due to years of abuse suffered due to a collaborative effort between the media/antifa and political establishment. An example is mainstream newspapers releasing the home addresses of Swedish people for commenting negatively about multiculturalism online under pseudonyms or the many violent home invasions of the (very moderate) Swedish Democrats and other (actual) nationalist organizations.

As I don't see the French/Swedish ruling class budging on this issue(for multiple reasons, they can't) this can only end one way.

Still hard to get the good ammo like CCI Stingers. Trap loads for shotguns are about triple the price. Loading supplies are high priced too.

And there's the problem. Go to Gunbot. Find what you need. Have it shipped to your house. Either that or reload.

Interesting post.

has it even came back? I stopped buying it a year and a half ago when nothing was around then decided to buy a gun in .40s&w because I couldn't find any .45acp and went to buy a couple boxes with 250 rnds but the store had a one box limit. I then went to another store that use to have a better selection and their ammo shelves was damn near bare. I then went to a "big" store and their selection was worse then the first two out of the three I only found one box of .45-70 which I wasn't going to waste my money on the light loaded shit and no .22lr or .22mag.

I have two friends who bought guns after San Bernardino. We don't even have a Muslim population where I live. One will be moving south shortly, though, so I was like, "Hell yeah, man, get your CCR." Why not? These guys were always the type to shun guns, but they legitimately don't want to find themselves in a situation like that, however incredibly unlikely, and only be holding their dicks in their hands.

People who never owned guns are buying guns. I think that might be it. Anyone have any sales figures for the past few weeks? Usually the business activity in any sector is reported quarterly, so I'm not sure if we'll know yet unless some investigative journalist was looking into the matter.

I'm glad I've been stocking up on ammo for like 10 years, I probably have 30k rounds and stuff for every caliber I own and a shit ton of reloading supplies.
