Is Islam vs Poirer Literally Free Money?

Only takes one punch or a small injury to change things, don't bet anything you're not ready to lose.
But how could Poirer not get choked by Islam? I just can't imagine it.

You sound like you work for a sports book and are worried about all the free money you're fixin to give away by letting people bet on Islam

Has there ever been a more sure bet in the history of sports betting? Poirer is good but styles count, and I literally don't see any way Islam loses this.

Should I take out mob loans, payday loans, and student loans for this one? It seems like a guarantee.
Take out bets of Titanic proportions buddy.

Sorry, Dustin can't be counted before ANY fight, regardless of the opponent.
Did you honestly think that about the Khabib fight? Just checking where your heads at.

I think Islam is at about -500 right now and I expect that to get even higher as the fight approaches. You would have to make a massive bet to really make a lot of money.

That's not how a sportsbook works. They want all your money regardless of the outcome

20 percent return is not bad. Especially for one night.

It would cover like half of Bidens next term worth of inflation. That's not small potatoes.

Alright, this is just getting silly lol you guys are making it out to seem like Dustin is an unranked late replacement.

Dude is a top 5 fighter, a vet, someone who has been in there with the LW GOAT in Khabib and an ATG LW in Charles Oliveira, a guy who has battled through adversity multiple times.

He is not the best grappler, yes. However, he is the best boxer at LW in my opinion and this is MMA, anything can happen from Dustin catching Islam coming in to Islam getting injured.

If you want to bet big, then bet big, but don't insult Dustin with these threads. I don't like his chances due to his age, fight mileage, and mediocre grappling compared to Islam, but I won't say he has no chance.

Remember, 99% of Sherdog was writing Holloway's obituary just a few days ago. You never know what will happen.

Yeah, Ronda/Holly, Izzy/Strickland, Gaethje/Hollway, Serra/GSP, Cruz/Neck tats. All just free money.

Dustin's a black belt who's only been submitted 3 times, one of which was 12 years ago, and the other 2 were Khabib and Charles, and he was tuning Charles up, hurt him bad and dropped him, and he even tagged Khabib hard enough to badly hurt most people but Khabib had a ludicrous chin. If any of those land on Islam, I don't think he has the same kind of chin Khabib did to just eat it.

I mean all Islam gotta do is close distance and clinch. Fight over. Does Dustin have a punchers chance? Sure. But no less as he did against Habib. It's like Hunt had a punchers chance against lesner except way better opponent.

There's no such thing as a sure bet, but Islam will be a heavy favorite. Poirier has power to catch him, but that's his only shot. I see this fight going much like Poirier-Khabib. Poitier will do well to get past the 1st round.

I get your logic but all it takes is a simple mistake, physical OR mental, made by Islam and DP is capable of ending the fight. Would I bet on it? No, but anything is possible on any given night with a great fighter like Dustin.

Matt Serra (+850) def. Georges St-Pierre (-1300)

Only one man "knew" Serra would win, Francombat, who won $260k that night betting 37k on Matt Serra to defeat GSP. That's the beauty of this sport, the upsets and wild moments happen often and make betting on fights just exhilarating (gamble responsibly).

Islam has been sparked before, does Dustin have it in him to finally have his Cinderella moment? Would a victory for him make him a major player in the hot sauce market? Will he finally sink a gilly? Will Islam take him lightly as a handpicked opponent and let his guard down once again after demolishing Volk, a "better" fighter?

Time will tell!
