Is Islam vs Poirer Literally Free Money?

Not really at the odds i'm seeing. Most have Islam as at least a -500 favorite. So you bet $1000 to win $200 IF he wins. Most likely he will win, but Poirier has the ability to beat anybody so at those odds i would pass. If he was only like a -250 favorite, then i'd probably put money down at those odds.

I did work for a sports book website. The amount of stories of people losing everything was pretty depressing and I heard those much more often than someone winning massive life changing amounts unfortunately

Yes, Rousey vs Holm...ohhh wait, Holloway vs Gaethje? Most of sherdog was sold on Holloway losing this fight with various levels of defeat, Poirier is always game as long as the fight lasts.

This fight is a bit different than the Khabib fight. Islam is more willing to engage in striking exchanges and doesn't chain grapple quite as well. Dustin is one of the craftiest vets there is and can absolutely catch Islam. Islam should be a heavy favorite but this fight is far from decided.

It was free money for me. I cleaned up when Holly won.

I was getting shit from sheep all night because I was telling people I bet on Holly.

And when Holly won all of a sudden everyone wanted free drinks.
 
i think the chance of islam tripping on the walkout and breaking his foot is statistically higher than the chance of dustin beating him.

I absolutely expect Poirier to lose, but to say its "free money", not even close to free money. We've seen much bigger upsets in MMA before. Before the Holm fight, some idiot made a thread where he advocated people take out a loan against their house to bet on Ronda because its guaranteed free money
