Is MVP sloppy?

16 finishes in 21 wins is point fighting?
Well, you have to take into account the fact that Bellator fed him mediocre competition for most of his run there.

He's a great finisher if he knows his opponent can't threaten him, but if it's competitive he's more likely to try and take pot shots until the fight is over. You have to remember that point fighting is his background at the end of the day.

Boxing: 2-0 with 2 finishes

Kickboxing: 1-0 with 1 finish
These are silly to bring up because they're wins against cans. Come on now.

He has a REALLY high risk high reward style imo. He fights really fast and when he comes in he crashes in super hard. If somebody were to catch him clean on his jump in hes goin to the moon but thus far nobody has been able to catch him clean except Lima off the trip/slip.

Calling him a point fighter with that amount of finishes is stupid. Him finishing cans doesn’t make him a point fighter. Grow up.

Coward

MMA: 16 finishes in 21 wins. “A point fighter”.

Boxing: 2-0 with 2 finishes

Kickboxing: 1-0 with 1 finish

Lmfao
Point fighter as in a full contact karate guy. It's called point fighting. The bladed stance, darting in and out. His entire style is called point fighting.
It isn't the context as in "he fights only for points and decisions"
Don't be such a noob.

That's the thing. It looks insane and goes against all conventional wisdom. But as far as I know, he has never been caught bad in the stand up. Lima doesn't count because it came in transition between ground and standup.

Quite a bit, but usually using his defensive skills
Yep.

He relies on it to stop panic wrestling when his spinny crazy shit too much for them

Anyway, the real question is; was he planning to catch Kevin, or just trying to level up by beating the wild Holland that appeared?
I think he really wanted a viral highlight reel KO. That's why he didn't follow up at all on the ground that time he had Holland hurt, and basically waved him back up.

But Holland has an iron chin, and it never came.

I feel like he thought that right hand would stop him eventually. He never tried to pile it on when anymore combinations after he hit it really.

It’s not about being a noob, it’s that you provided zero context and we’re talking specifically about his fight tonight which he did not finish. You’re the dense one, not being able to see that and getting worked up.

This whole thread is you being angry and thinking we didn’t know he did points karate. I mean they only said it like 4 times during the fight. Context is key.

He's on the wrong side of 35 and fighting a guy with absolutely terrible offensive wrestling.

The UFC wisely booked him with an exhibition matchup.
As someone with a nick diaz pfp im guessing you watched strikeforce whats wrong with promoters booking fights to better their stars?

praying we get wonderboy mvp next
