Robert took a lot of damage in both fights, got knocked down multiple times in the second fight, and according to many he lost the fight too. We wanted to see how Rob comes back after that beating. Well, we finally have the answer now. His chin is gone. Got KOd in the first, saved by the bell. Got KOd in the second. Bobby probably goes down Weirdman, Rockhold's way.

He also said he never felt better

His technique was trash, he never tried to vary his attack and he took strikes he never should’ve taken.

Even Israel was not impressive, it was an ugly brawl

I thought it was the other way around and Yoel was broken

I think you meant to say Adesanya damaged Whitaker beyond repair.

Romero didn't get KOd in his next fight, lost a close decision. Romero is 43 and retiring.

TS, don’t forget he had bad injuries and that weird bacterial infection.

youre blind.

Say what you want about knuckles but Israel was extremely impressive. There were so many kicks and punches he could of blocked or got touched by and he avoided and dodged. He made Rob waste so much energy that hitting him became easier.
You know nothing about how combat works.

You have no idea what you're watching. Whittaker was throwing some heat, and a great deal of his combinations he landed due to great positioning and reaction. He was mixing in low and high kicks a did a great job getting those and his 1-2s off with minimal foretelling, as he's always done well. Adesanya was simply phenomenal and landed some beautiful counter hooks.

Lmao he looked fast as hell and would have beaten majority of the MW's last night.

He ran into guy that is a level above everyone in the division.

Those blitzes and awkward strikes would have rattled most the the MW's that dont have Izzy's striking pedigree.

This is correct.
Stylebender matrix'd those high kicks, he was evading about as well as a prime Silva, if not better given how high level Whittaker's striking is.

It was a sloppy brawl

The sport has a long way to go

He did the same to Paulo, you will see, you can't fight Romero and not come out of it damaged for life.

To be fair, he didn't have a great strategy last night. I think if he attacked the body instead of head hunting, he would've had a much better chance of making something happen. What he was doing was working until Israel timed him, which wasn't too complicated because he didn't give him much to think about.

costa will come out of it a better fighter...he wasn't hurt. never once...and it was the first time going the distance...5 rounds...that is only going to make him a good fighter....israel took more shots against gastelum, than costa did against romero...

That was not high level striking from Robert, y'all been smoking too much weed. He was carelessly jumping in and swinging with all his force. A more refined boxer, would have caught him in the first round with some devastating counters.
