Jacare and Rodolfo Veira both submitted in MMA... Is Gordon Ryan scared?

Yeah, he is terrified because 41 year old Jacare who is 2-6 in the last 4 years lost a fight. It's not like he is getting ready for the next ADCC or anything. And not like he asked for a superfight and to be in the Absolute division, which no one has done before.

Is he that 220-pound BJJ specialist who's like 25 and roided out of his mind and about to fight a much, much smaller ancient Aoki in submission grappling? I'm thinking he'll stay where it's safe and not test the waters against a Jan, Jiri or Ngannou (depending what weight class he'd be after dropping PEDs....maybe MW).

UFC isn't a grappling competition... Anything can happen in a fight.

Still though Jacare getting subbed is extraordinary...last time I was this shocked was when....
