"Justice should be about fixing the future, not the past."

Do you disagree with this quote?

If so, why?

If you do not disagree with this quote, then can you defend tearing down statues, or the idea of reparations?

I honestly think democrats are using this moment to hide their disgusting past.

I could honestly not care less about confederate statues, but I'm from NY.

It's more fake news to keep people confused. The Russia thing got boring, they have a new shiny toy for retards to look at.

I don't like censoring history, but I support the idea of fleshing it out. I think Princeton's approach to Woodrow Wilson's legacy on their campus is a good one. He was president during an important part of American and World History, and we shouldn't try to forget who he was by removing his name from buildings and the like. What we should with him and other historical figures is put their faults out front alongside their positive achievements.

We should paint complete pictures of these figures such that younger people who come across these monuments can form a complete opinion for themselves.

Reparations? Are people going to pay back the hundreds of billions of dollars of government assistance that various levels of government in the US have provided.
