To be fair, MMA was already a trash circus before Conor, but Conor sort of sealed the coffin on the "legit sport" aspect of MMA and certainly solidified the trashy promotion with trashy fighters and trashy fans.

The western media are run by politicians. They are always against anybody who doesn't play to their likings. A man can be a hero one year for fighting against a certain group and the west will support him with money and weapons. All true. He also looked exhausted early in the fight and never seemed to recover any sort of energy level. The man who entered the ring against Cowboy looked fit and strong. In a rematch against Khabib, I expect it to go like Cain Velasquez vs. Brock Lesnar. Once Khabib gets his TD's stuffed early and sees Conor still has energy, he'll be done mentally and the end will come quick.
