Not a fan of Conor but after watching that video about Khabib humiliating homeless man it's hard to hope anything else than KO win for Conor.
You are a fucking idiotNot a fan of Conor but after watching that video about Khabib humiliating homeless man it's hard to hope anything else than KO win for Conor.
THISSo dont train ANY boxing AT all when youre going in against a striker? Just because youre not going to gameplan a striking match doesnt mean you dont train it incase its needed. Boxing defence is also a thing you know. NOT training any stand up would be the stupidest decision. SInce Conor wont be planning on going to the matt I guess he should not train any wrestling and BJJ then?
Don’t be ignorant. Homeless people have a very hard time being considered with the same value as other citizens. That’s why there are particular laws about harassing the homeless. Many of them are mentally and or physically unwell. To record and experience genuine happiness at the misery of a homeless person doing push-ups for some spare cash is humiliating. There is a reason the military requires lesser rank to do push ups. It miminizes them as people. It trades in their identity to a command. I know I’m speaking to a wall and you already know this, but I don’t want you to feel like your ass comment has any merit. On what planet is giving the homeless money to do a few push ups worse than fucking assault and destruction of property?
I grew up in a military family and not a single person in my family (or that I personally know) that has served has ever felt degraded by being told to exercise. Push ups are simple routine exercise or minor disciplinary actions at worst. The military dehumanizes you by stripping away your individuality in boot camp (or OCS for officers). They talk down to you and refer to you as less than human until proven otherwise. The work you to the bone and shit on your self worth until you either crack or overcome. When my Grandfather enlisted into the Air Force, he was called a dog. A useless flea ridden animal only good for being worked. THAT is how the military breaks you. I lived in big cities with lots of homeless people. I know what cruelty looks like. It's not that. I've seen people do far worse to homeless people and give them nothing in return.
Islam and Khabib are being assholes but they don't mean any harm towards the homeless people. Doesn't mean they have the right to laugh, but they are ultimately paying them for a harmless action.
You cannot reasonably consider that worse than injuring several people through clearly malicious actions with no remorse.
And yet Conor statistically landed more shots against Floyd in 8 rounds, then Manny did in 12 roundsWhat does that have to do with anything? My name is Pakman and has nothing to do with Manny Pacquiao.
But on that subject and fights that are shams, your boy Conor’s boxing career was just that, a sham. His fight vs Floyd was a much bigger scam than the one vs Manny. At least Manny had a shot.
And yet Conor statistically landed more shots against Floyd in 8 rounds, then Manny did in 12 rounds
And yet Conor won more rounds against Floyd, then Manny ever did
I already now you are going to respond with that absurd conspiracy theory that Floyd "carried" Conor
That's Floyd's second hand man Nate Jones. He's been with Floyd for all of his career and holds pads for him.
"I knew McGregor was going to be a problem....because I seen him one day, i seen his work, and I'm like, man he's kind of rangey. His length. And his gamey-ness. I knew he could be a problem, and in the beginning of the fight he did give Floyd problems."
"We seen him(Conor) draining, and we knew just to push the button. I thought Conor fought a VERY GOOD fight. Much better then I kinda expected. But i was kinda thinking both ways about the fight"
MYTH DEBUNKED
Those closest to Floyd, who were apart of his training, apart of the fight, and apart of the gameplan, themselves all said that they knew Conor was going to be a problem, that Conor put up a great performance, and that Floyd had to fight hard to overcome/adjust/start pushing Conor's buttons etc
There's a reason why it's only MMA fans who know nothing about boxing who are the ones always discrediting Conor's performance against Floyd and making excuses for Floyd
Yet Floyd's own team gives Conor credit
Yet it's the actual boxing community - those who actually know boxing, who are always praising Conor's boxing skill and his performance against Floyd
The context for push ups in the military does not fit AT ALL! Push ups are punishment for clear violations of agreed upon rules. You fucked up your job, therefore your entire squad pays for it.Push ups are not intended only for physical excercise. They are a punishment and serve to make one obedient. Does filming someone begging for money and being told they need to do some pushups for the entertainment of someone who is well off while being laughed at not dehumanize them? Get out of here with your shit dude. I didn’t say it was worse or better than what Conor did, frankly they are completely different and it’s not a pissing contest.
What Conor did was strange, showy, which ended in injury. It’s hard to say where malice started and the ‘cinema’ ended for Conor. His situation is murky.
Khabibs is clear. He enjoyed demeaning a homeless person so much so that he recorded it and shared it to the world. Not only does he think he’s behavior is acceptable, but he likely thought it was so acceptable that he would share it and get approval?
Like I said, the two are different, and I’m commented on khabib. He’s a piece of shit for that.
And saying people do worse does not justify shit.
Does never say never mean he's willing to stand and trade with Conor?
If you feel I misspoke about push ups and military then so be it. Don’t hyperfocus on that, please, it hasn’t much to do with my overall point. I didn’t say it wasn’t malicious, either, if you read my response. I’m not sure why you’re minimizing what they did. Sure, it’s not criminal, but the fact is is that the homeless person was at the mercy of khabib and his cousin. The context for push ups in the military does not fit AT ALL! Islam offers a homeless dude some money in exchange for a simple task. This is not bad. The issue is that Khabib and Islam find humor in this. What are they laughing about? It's unclear. Islam is hamming it up in the video, so that could be part of it. They could be laughing at their poor form which is dickish. There is no context for the situation. The homeless could just be cool about it. They could not be. No one knows.
Khabib and Islam were being asshole in an ultimately harmless way. What they did was wrong but left the homeless people compensated at the very least. That is not justifying it. It's just refusing to over blow it. It was a dick move. Bad but ultimately harmless.
Also, look at what you're quoting before you post. My post was in response saying that Conor injuring several people is nowhere near as bad. (which you are full of shit in thinking it was not malicious when he through a dolly through a fucking window at a bus full of people).
I never said what Khabib did was right.
