King and Queen of rom-coms?

Ron Jeremy lol. I remember being 16 and sneaking adult tapes from midnight video because our friend worked there. We didn't know his name at the time, but we nicknamed him sasquatch because "Jesus, this hairy guy is in every fucking porn"

Remember seeing him and Har Mar Superstar together in a Ibiza nightclub back in the day.

Mind was blown.

I got a pocket full of Haethornes

Adam Sandler has ton of rom-coms out there and he's always the main character, but he's one of those actors that you either love or hate.

What's the deal with Jlo being mentioned? She's garbage at Rom-coms.

Matthew McConaughey
Katherine Heigl (she was actually named dropped by Mila Kunis in another RomCom)

Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan. Everyone else is just competing for silver.

Splash, Big, Joe Versus the Volcano, Sleepless in Seatle, You've got Mail

My personal favorite was the one where he keeps trying to save the pretty blonde who doesn't want to be saved, and he gets shot in a war.

My God, this thread makes me sad. Nobody here has ever seen a movie older than the '80s, huh? The answer is Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn, two of the three GOAT actors, a real-life couple, and they made nine films together, a number of them being among the GOAT romcoms, including Woman of the Year, State of the Union, Adam's Rib, and Pat and Mike.

Honorable mentions to Cary Grant, the quintessential movie star who could be cool and silly with the same ease, and Judy Holliday, the most underrated comedic actress ever.

Tom Hanks (Ben Stiller a distsnt second) and Meg Ryan / Julia Roberts

Tom Hanks by a distance over all. For female it's close between Julia an Meg

Queen was Meg Ryan. King...Tom Hanks probably.

Cary Grant films are gems, and tv networks still occasionally show them.

The only time a bloke should watch a “rom com” is with a girl you’re trying to bang, otherwise it’s really gay (not that there’s anything wrong with that etc)

Rocco Siffredi and Selen

It's obviously Hugh Grant and the tooth deprived prostitute he got caught with when he was married to prime Elizabeth fucking Hurley.

Was this an intentional reference or do you not know that the episode ends with an Over the Top joke?

No, I never watched that episode. I thought that picture had an unintentional weird angle.

I think the Queen is Reese Witherspoon
