Kobe Bryant's personality

That's true, Celtics did had 80% of the talent with cousy and those guys, but Wilt had a garbage team in his early career.

hence y he had such amazing stats & even scored 100 pts in a single game

lmao Tim Duncan will go down as the most underrated player ever.

No doubt Duncan is top 10 IMO

But he's a "system" superstar

dat fundamentals. prob the reason y hes able to stay in the league for so long as a big man. doesnt have to rely on explosiveness and athleticism

Kobe is a free flowing basketball god

Guards usually have the edge over big men, because of obvious reasons.

Kobe is a free chucking volume scorer. Really he's one of the most overrated players ever

Anyone who says there is a better basketball player than Jordan is just a complete fool.

The guy was a god on every end of the court.

How is he the greatest if he can't shoot to save his life ?

Kobe brought em 5 rings in a much tougher era, besides, Magic only had team full of hall of famers.

Kobe in 09 & 10 is much more impressive than Magic as a laker. I'm not saying its by a big margin, but Kobe has a slight edge on Magic, Kareem, and Shaq.

Kobe brought em how many rings again?

Lol he wouldn't make it in Breakitdowns rec league.

Tim Duncan is not a system superstar, matter of fact, he's the star that spurs that system in San Antonio. Tim Duncan is the greatest help defender, ever, in nba history. he may be boring, but he's a dominant force down low, and about as consistent as they get

San Antonio hasn't won less then 50 games or missed the playoffs since he's been there. despite starting cans like naterovich, oberto, nazr mohammed at times next to him at C since DRob retired

Lol @ bringing up a player in the 50's or 60's. Back then the best players didn't even know how to dribble with both hands and they shot set jumpers. I could have averaged 30 a night back then.

Not only is kobe the GROAT he's the greatest chucker to ever live. He has missed the most shots in NBA history.

Does it matter? If you dismantle your competition better than anyone else, you're the best ever. Can't compare athletes of today to the athletes of yesterday but the guys in the 50's and 60's were all on an equal playing field so don't discount that.

For the guys interested in the sociopathic nature of these guys. Check out this Jordan article.

Of course it matters. All time greats are made because they would be great in any era not just the watered down competition they competed against at that time. Their play is timeless. Players like Jordan, Magic, LeBron and Kareem would be superstars in any era. Can't say the same for others.

Yeah, taking 22.1 shots a game to score 22.9 points is going to win you a lot of games. That is only slightly less dumb than people praising Kobe for doing what
he was doing this season in his age while ignoring his terrible shooting percentage. Both of them needed someone bench them until they improved their shot selection.

DERP

Context, son. The poster I replied to said jordan was exposed by his play in the 2000s and that it was proof that the 00s were so much better than the 90s. My point was Jordan could still perform in that era when he was 39-40 years old. Obviously his game declined at that point, but it wasn't bad for an old man. Jordan also led the Wizards in assists and steals.

i thought the lebron hypetrain would have derailed when he proved he cant win a title unless he has 2 other franchise players with him playing at a FRANCHISE level, seeing as to how everyone points the downfall of wade as the reason lebron got embarassed in last years finals. the guys legacy is built upon REACHING the finals, while the goats legacies are based upon WINNING titles. lmfao at someone with more finals losses than wins being one of the goats.

while jordan is the goat in basketball, and though i don't think jon jones is in mma, they are both similar in their personalities. they each come off as arrogant assholes, and that may help them in their respective sports. some guys need to feel that way in order to win. but it also causes them problems in public.

the tim duncans and fedor emelianenkos of the world have a different mentality, and still win.
