Social Kyle Rittenhouse Booed off Stage at University of Memphis When Faced With Protestors

That's your opinion missy. Keep simping for the child molester he deleted though.

Hello ASVAB waiver, here’s a thought: two things can be true, all molesters need to be deleted and Kyle is a moron.

He had as much of a right to be there as anyone else. Given his ties to the community, he had more justification being there than bye-ceps.

What were his ties to the community?

I agree. Kid was rightfully found not guilty. Any other verdict would've been crazy.

But I think now he's trying to capitalize on his "fame" and he's not super bright and not very good at this game and it shows. A "normal life" will only be in the cards if he stops trying to be some sort of spokesperson (or allowing others to manipulate him into thinking he is) for anti-wokeness or whatever. It doesn't seem like he's up for this role.
I concur, though I do maintain that he is a fucking idiot for putting himself into that situation to begin with. Perhaps it was just the naivete and folly of youth, hopefully he learns from it. He's a political football for the moment.

I feel sorry for this kid.
He had every right to protect himself that night. The problem is now he is being put in situations he is woefully ill prepared to be in.
He is being used by rage porn peddlers and put in situations like what happened. The rage porn peddlers knew he was going to get shit, and probably hoped he would so they can post on their rage porn sites, see the left hates Kyle.
I would not be surprised if Kyle's life goes off the rails, I hope it does not, but either he figures out he is being used or he will be thrown away when those that are using him are done with him. Once he figures that out, hopefully he can emotionally handle it.
I thought at one point he wanted to be a nurse or in the medical field, he should go back to doing that, instead of being used to peddle rage porn.

I dont agree here. True he has a right but what was the purpose? To defend other people's businesses? The kid was dumb doing this imo.

Would agree except that he shouldn't have been there. I feel no sympathy for the peeps shot but the situation wasn't good for him to put himself there.

"Video from the event showed several protesters in black T-shirts in attendance. One of them stood up and questioned Rittenhouse about Charlie Kirk, the far-right conservative activist whose youth organization, Turning Point U.S.A., sponsored Rittenhouse’s appearance."

Rittenhouse asked the person questioning him, with some gusto, what racist things Charlie Kirk has said. When confronted with them, Rittenhouse said he didn't have any comments and walked off stage.

His excuse was that he had a hard stop time and needed to leave... which makes no sense since the last words he said were “We’re gonna have a bit of a dialogue of what racist things Charlie Kirk said.”
Why do people like you never include what is supposedly racist that is said? Why isn't that at the top of the OP's summary?

I have no idea who Charlie Kirk is, but since the OP didn't have it, I checked the article.
“He says that we shouldn't celebrate Juneteenth,
Not racist
we shouldn’t celebrate Martin Luther King Day—we should be working those days.
Not racist. Although I don't know why he wants fewer holidays.
Not racist. Especially given the context of Biden explicitly saying he was only considering black women for the post. In fact, that was the only clearly racist comment pertaining to the issue of her appointment.
he said all this nonsense about George Floyd,
Apparently the person in the audience at Rittenhouse's event who stood up couldn't specify racist things Kirk said about Floyd, so...not racist.
and he said he’d be scared if a Black pilot was on a plane.
This is the only potentially racist remark recounted, a rather mild one, and I say that because I'm not aware if black pilots have worse crash rates, or if they are more likely to be flying with less training. This leads me to suspect this comment is rooted in some affirmative action policy by an airline.

So I just Googled, and this comes up:
Newsweek said:
On his weekly panel discussion, ThoughtCrime, Kirk was discussing what he felt was the negative impact of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) policies, which are designed to encourage people from ethnic minorities to pursue careers in industries that are not representative of them. Opponents argue that DEI gives favoritism to people based on race that undermines a meritocratic system in which only the most qualified are able to pursue roles...

Kirk's comments come as comedian Rob Schneider said he will no longer fly on United Airlines in an X post directed to CEO Scott Kirby.

"I regret to inform you that I will no longer allow my family to fly on your airline as you have clearly placed 'diversity' of pilot hiring above safety of passengers and crew," Schneider wrote.

Schneider attempted to back up his statement by referencing a flight, UA1722, that suddenly dove after takeoff. An investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board put the incident down to a "crew failure" to "manage the airplane's vertical flight path, airspeed, and pitch attitude following a miscommunication about the captain's desired flap setting during the initial climb."

Newsweek reached out to United Airlines and Kirby via email for comment.

A statement from United Airlines in August 2023 said "pilots voluntarily reported this event and United fully cooperated with the independent investigation so that insights could be used to enhance the safety of the entire industry," Reuters reported.

The plane, which was carrying 71 passengers and 10 crew, landed safely after the flight captain recovered the situation.

In an interview with Axios on HBO this month, Kirby said that "50 percent of the classes" taught by United "will be women or people of color."

He added that United has "just 19 percent of its pilots who are women or people of color" but that it was an industry high.

Clearly this is a policy driven by an affirmative action mindset, is anti-meritocratic, and is concerning. Kirk already apologized for his comment about pilots, but that context mitigates what would otherwise come across as baseless bigotry in his comment. These sorts of policies are concerning.

So is this the most racist stuff this Kirk guy has said? Because, if so, he doesn't sound like a racist to me.

Doing the job the city and police were supposed to do; he was there cleaning up from the night before and making sure the city didn't get burned down again.

Him being there was less dumb than the people rioting and burning down businesses that had zero involvement with Jacob Blake.

You seem very passionate about this

No argument on the idiocy of those rioting but there has to be some order imo. Having untrained peeps entering this situation is not good imo.

Would agree except that he shouldn't have been there. I feel no sympathy for the peeps shot but the situation wasn't good for him to put himself there.
That goes both ways. NO ONE was supposed to be there, a curfew was in place.

I'm assuming it didn't take you very long to put together this very compelling argument. If only Ritterhouse had taken a couple moments to google Kirk then he could have explained this to the crowd and possibly even won their hearts.
