This is the only card to focus on this week let's kill it!

I'm on Kadestam in the ONE card if you're interested. Generally fought good guys, fighting Lapicus who's coming up from lightweight and when I've seen him win it's when he's physically dominated smaller guys.

Also Lapicus totally quit when given an out against Eddie Alvarez so I don't like that about him.

Kadestam is like a 3.25 dog.

From what I know about guys on this card.

Marion Santos got physically bullied at bantamweight by Dan Argueta, I haven't seen a Joseph fight since the contender series but if he's physically imposing he could be a good bet given that this is at a higher weight.

Mota is pretty good. Had a close fight with Charles Johnson for a while but faded against a cardio machine. Don't know much about Abuev.

Ray Waters looks like a beast, I'm not looking to play the dog against him.

Nice I was aware of that card but didn't know it was possible to bet on it. I will have to see if any Canadian sites have odds for it.

Abuev is a no brainer play. for 210+ im getting

Trains with Mokaev
ATT gym
Sambo Background
Better cardio( Mota has that Bulky frame that is not made for 5 round fights)
Solid top control pressure(better grappler)
Faster hands
Athletic explosive
Pankration title
Ko loss to tyson nam which is more forgivable than Charles Johnson.

He's like a 1.0 version of Mokaev

Rizvan Abuev (@rizvanabuev_official) • Instagram photos and videos

dropping 250$ on him single bet. He just needs to survive the first 3 rounds and he's got it.
parlay him (small sprinkle 37$ for 150) with Dwight Joseph who has a win on Perrin who fights for the ufc, he's fighting better competition. don't understand how he isnt a -200

My only issue with Abuev is it seems in Russia every time he had a step up in comp he lost. I definitely liked it at first glance though.

his mma debut was in 2011 so you have to forgive him for that.

The other russian that beat him Vartan Asatryan ("Corsair") | MMA Fighter Page | Tapology

Has 2 wins on Zhalgas who is a solid fighter despite having gone 1-4 in the ufc, ppl thought he won against Jeff Molina, but that is another debate.

And Vartan went 4 rounds with Tagir. A ufc caliber guy, so means he could have survived a 3-round fight with Tagir. I would rate Vartan as 'solid fighter' not some regional bum, he could definitely beat a few guys in the ufc. Abuev was out experienced in that fight, cmon i think you got to give some room there.

And having pankration background and winning titles, means he basically has more combat experience than Mota. What more can you ask for? Mota isn't exactly a specialist in any area, just seems like your generic mma striker who trains lot of muay thai but doesn't have any muay thai credentials. I think both guys can thump. But as i said in the Perkin's fight, who is the better mixed martial artist here? Who is going to win the grappling exchanges and keep it competitive on the feet? For an underdog he hits all the check marks again.

Yeah, you're making a good case. I'll probably hit it but I think the first couple of rounds might be a bit sweaty.

What do you think to Knutson as a huge dog? Hasn't fought in a long time but Schultz doesn't really impress me.

yeah but Mota has 4 decisions and 3 kos. unlikely he puts him out when he cant put out lesser fighters. but he has heavy hands so maybe but unlikely, this is going to be a long fight, and i always favor the grappler.

I think schults gets it. younger, bigger(6 ft 2 vs 5'9) , college wrestler. both guys have no good wins but i get the impression Knutson might just be coming back for a little paycheck, just maybe there to pad Schultz record. i always suspect Lfa fixes fights to give these guys a boost. i would not touch that guy. im passing on both.

Dwight Joseph is a 33 year old D2 wrestler who trains with Team Alpha Male. This fight was such a low-level affair that his opponent didn't even have a cornerman. He does have a DWCS win over Jay Perrin, but IMO Perrin was only brought into the UFC to be cannon-fodder for Aoriqileng.

Mairon Santos is a pretty hot prospect out of Brazil. Trains with Jessica Andrade, FWIW. LFA had him headline a card at age 21. If he can handle Joseph's wrestling, he should dominate on the feet. He did show some offensive wrestling in this fight, so I'm inclined to take a stab at him.

He got utterly dominated by Dan Argueta, if you haven't watched that before betting him I'd suggest you do.

^^^Im fading both guys, rewatched the Perrin fight, Dwight clearly lost the last two rounds, i don't know how he got that nod. I think the fact that Dana gave Perrin a shot in the ufc speaks to his disapproval of the score cards. Dwight also can be gassy, and his hands suck. seeing if there is a better alternative.

Dillion Cox at 5.0 against Pagoa looks interesting on Tapology, I can't see that kind of difference on paper.

He has a nice height advantage. As a student of boxing, i got to go with Pagoa. Seeing Cox get lit up by Tyrus on the feet , Pagoa has better hands than Tyrus. fast hooks; trains at xtreme couture with better training partners. he's looked like a beast in some of his last fights. Cox went 7-6 as an amateur

I think Bahatebole Batebolati ("Lion King") | MMA Fighter Page | Tapology

is a good underdog for that price. Watched his fight on ufc fight pass.

  • Solid body kicks, decent boxing.
  • Chinese boxing , Kickboxing background- all wins by ko (6)
  • Trains with Cung Le, who did Sanshou. I noticed he looked comfortable wrestling, its possible he did Sanshou himself, chinese wrestling programs is decent.
  • He was able to defend sub attacks from Haris Talundžić ("The Bosnian Silverback") | MMA Fighter Page | Tapology who is a young prospect and about to main event against Chris Brown, he landed nasty loud sounding body kicks.
This is basically how i have it. Passing on Santos Dwight, i do think santos may end up being the value side just because he is 22 years old and the better standup, but Dwight top pressure might go the same way that the Argueta fight went.

Im gonna parlay all of those, single bet Batebolati and Abuev and do a parlay with just both underdogs at the end, small sprinkle parlay.
